A large reward is offered for information on the murder of a trucker from Grants Pass, Oregon at the truck stop on Knighton Road. On August 12th the Shasta County Sheriff’s Office was asked to check on the welfare of 64-year-old Rick Michael Forbes because he hadn’t called his company or his family. Deputies and medical personnel found Forbes’ big rig parked at the T.A. truck stop, and they found Forbes dead inside. Detectives have not released information on the cause of death or the circumstances, but they say it was a homicide due to the manner in which he was found.
