The search continues for missing Trinity County woman Stacy Smart. On Saturday, volunteers used sonar equipment and found what appeared to be a body on the bottom of Trinity Lake. However the sheriff’s dive team found only a pile of rocks and no body. The 52-year-old woman has been missing since November 2nd. Her family has now opened negotiations with hostage negotiator Cameron Gamble, the same man who was involved in the search for Sherri Papini, who was found early Thanksgiving morning after being beaten, bound with chains, and branded. Authorities don’t think there is any connection between the two missing women. Smart is five foot eight, 180 pounds, with blue eyes and blonde hair.
