A coordinated women’s march is set for this Saturday in cities across America. Tens of thousands are expected to march in Washington D.C. and even Sacramento is expecting thousands. Not to be left out, Redding will witness its own women’s march as well. It’s billed as a way to send a peaceful but firm message to Washington not to undo all that women have come to expect. Marchers are encouraged to make signs and posters but they’re discouraged from making them partisan, profane or anti-anything. Organizers want a family friendly event. The rally begins at 10AM Saturday at Redding City Hall and will go up to the freeway and back. Rain is forecast for Saturday.
