Redding Police have captured a most wanted subject from somebody else’s list. The Nevada Division of Investigations contacted the RPD on Wednesday looking for Troy Michael Bliefert. He was wanted for drug dealing and had been on the run since 2014. He was believed to have friends in the Redding area. Redding’s Neighborhood Police Unit followed the lead and Thursday they staked out a home on Huntington Drive until Bliefert arrived. He was confronted in the backyard and surrendered peacefully. He’ll be extradited back to Nevada.
