A man arrested Friday afternoon by Redding’s Neighborhood Police Unit was booked into Shasta County Jail for the 29th time. Officers staked out 47-year-old William David Eddy, a ex-parolee with a long record and six outstanding arrest warrants for drugs and weapons. When Eddy started to drive away from Smile Place at Russell Street, he was pulled over and arrested. A search of the car allegedly turned up almost a pound of Methamphetamine, a small amount of heroin, scales and packaging.
