The world went a little topsy turvy for a South Redding family Tuesday morning when a falling tree lifted one end of their house. The Stone family lives on Fagan Lane in the Bonneyview Neighborhood. A very large Oak tree in the front yard that was hundreds of years old fell away from the house and the Oak’s root system acted as a lever and lifted the entire garage end of the house about 5 feet in the air. The tree also brought down power lines so the mother and child couldn’t leave the house until an REU crew arrived.
