An Anderson sex offender has been caught with child porn again,according to police. At 12:30AM last Thursday, officers were checking on a report of a suspicious Buick on East Center Street at Alexander. They found 33-year-old William Miles Richter sitting in the car partially undressed. A records check showed he was a registered sex offender. When pressed, Richter reportedly admitted that he had been sitting there viewing child porn on his cell phone. Officers say they found multiple pornographic images of children on the phone. Richter was released from federal prison in July after serving a 51 month sentence for possession of child porn. He’s currently on parole so his home was searched. No more porn was found but officers found ammunition and a pair of children’s underwear. Richter was booked into jail.
