For the second consecutive Monday, a body has been found in a Siskiyou County river. The sheriff’s office says there’s no evidence the cases are linked. Monday afternoon the body of a man was found floating in about 6 inches of water in a tributary of the Shasta River near Highway 263. There were no obvious signs of foul play or external injuries. An autopsy is planned for later this week.
