People who attend an event in Palo Cedro Saturday will find a pet parade, free hot dogs and snacks, raffles, prizes, face painting, music, a live radio broadcast and more. But the goal of the event is to find a best friend, and there are plenty of best friends to choose from. It’s the first annual “Purrfect” Match Adoption Day and Spring Forward Pet Festival. It will take place at another chance animal welfare league thrift store in the holiday shopping center in Palo Cedro Saturday from 10AM to 2PM.
