Police: Parolee Arrested With 69 Grams Of Meth

Redding Police say they bagged a drug dealer with a big bag of drugs early Sunday morning. At 2AM a disturbance had been reported on Yogi Court in North Redding. When officers arrived they found 36-year-old Joshua Eugene Brock sitting in a car. He apparently had been caught unaware because officers say they could see him trying to hide something in the center console and when they shined their flashlights on it they could see it was a large amount of Methamphetamine. It turned out to be 69 grams and Brock also allegedly had a scale and other evidence of dealing, as well as a switchblade knife. Brock’s troubles are compounded by the fact that he was out on bail from an incident in November when he was allegedly chased by Redding Police while intoxicated. During that pursuit he reportedly threw a loaded 9 millimeter handgun with a high capacity magazine out the car window and was in possession of 22 ounces of Meth, 5 pounds of Pot and a loaded sawed off shotgun. Brock has served two prior prison sentences for drug dealing. His current charges include committing a felony while out on bail.
