Man Receives 11 Year Suspended Prison Sentence

A man has been sentenced in Tehama County after being found with a lot of cash and a variety of drugs. 32-year-old Jason Keith Taylor was pulled over in December by Corning Police. When officers found out that Taylor had an out-of-state drug warrant, they called Tehama Interagency Drug Enforcement Agents to take over. Taylor and the car were searched and a total of more that $37,000 was found along with at least 7 different kinds of illegal drugs, scales and packaging. Last week Taylor given an 11 year prison sentence, which is suspended if he serves 9 months in jail, 80 hours of community service and 5 years probation.
