Coroner ID’s Man Fatally Stabbed In Red Bluff

A homeless man allegedly stabbed by a homeless teenager in Red Bluff has been identified. On Sunday morning Tehama County Deputies were called to a homeless encampment on Spider Island in the Sacramento River Slough north of Antelope Boulevard. When they arrived they found 39-year-old Harvey Guy McGlothin deceased. An investigation quickly led them to identify the suspect as 19-year-old Jesse Jacobo. During questioning Jacobo allegedly told detectives that an argument had started after Jacobo accused McGlothin of stealing from him. The argument reportedly escalated until Jacobo stabbed McGlothin. An autopsy has shown the cause of death to be multiple stab wounds. McGlothin is originally from Oregon. Jacobo is in Tehama County Jail on One Million Dollars bail.
