Accused Killer “Rage” Appears In Court

An accused Shasta County killer had a court appearance Monday morning. 30-year-old Kane Kazzcooper Harrison, A.K.A. “Rage”, is accused of murdering Randall Matsunaga. The 24-year-old man was shot in the chest at the Bixby Knolls Trailer Park off Highway 273 just north of Happy Valley Road on February 1st. Harrison was captured two weeks later in the Butte County Town of Clipper Mills, where his girlfriend’s family lives. He’s charged with murder, being a felon with a firearm and an enhancement for use of the gun. On Monday his preliminary hearing was set for May 9th. He remains in jail with bail set at more than $2 Million.
