The Tehama County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a post office break-in. At 4:35AM Monday morning deputies responded for a burglar alarm at the Rancho Tehama post office. They found the main office door had been forced open and mail had been stolen from a table in the office. It’s not known how much was taken or the nature of the mail.
