A fair housing workshop set for next week in Redding is intended to help landlords, tenants, property managers and others. Presented by the Shasta Fair Housing Alliance, the event will feature representatives from local, state, federal, and non-profit agencies who will present information about housing discrimination, reasonable accommodation, service animals, implicit bias, discrimination against victims of domestic violence, and other general housing issues. If there’s a legal question about housing, this will be the place to get it answered. The workshop is next Thursday from 8:30AM to 4PM in the Redding City Council Chambers. A $15 fee includes materials and lunch. Registration can be done by calling 241-3565.
