Hundreds of very serious anglers will be hitting Lake Shasta this week. The Bassmaster B.A.S.S. Nation Western Regional Bass Tournament is returning to Shasta for the first time in more than a decade. 210 anglers will be competing for cash prizes and a trip to the national championships. Each of the 11 states in the western region brings a team of 20 people in 10 boats. The competition runs this Wednesday through Friday, starting at 6:15AM each day with weigh-ins at 2:15PM at Bridge Bay.
