Suspect Sought After Shots Fired At Weekend Party

Two men reportedly used weapons to beat another man at a party west of Anderson over the weekend. Shasta County Sheriff’s Deputies were called after 1AM Sunday to Peter Pan Gulch off Olinda Road on reports of a loud party and shots fired. They arrived to find Dusty Prevette with injuries to his face and chest. Deputies learned there had been a party during which 21-year-old Gerrhett Eubank got into an altercation with some of the other party-goers. He became upset and left the party, but apparently returned a short time later with 20-year-old Logan Fouche. Eubank also reportedly had a gun and fired some shots in the air while standing in the road in front of the home. Prevette confronted Eubank in the road and Eubank allegedly hit him in the face with the gun. Fouche then allegedly hit Prevette in the chest with a baseball bat before Eubank and Fouche both left. A search for them was unsuccessful. Eubank turned himself in at the jail Tuesday. Logan Fouche is still being sought by the sheriff’s office.
