Crews are getting the upper hand on the Wall Fire. The devastating fire that started last Friday in Butte County north of Bangor destroyed 41 homes and 2 commercial buildings, with 3 other homes damaged and 55 other structures damaged or destroyed. The fire burned 6033 acres and is now 95% contained. All evacuation orders have been lifted. Almost 900 personnel are still working the fire. The cause is not known. Earlier this week Governor Jerry Brown declared a state of emergency for Butte County.
