Man Sentenced To 6 Years For Sexually Assaulting Girlfriend

A Tehama County man has been sent to prison for brutally beating his significant other underneath a Red Bluff bridge. 30-year-old Anthony McKinnie was arrested April 18th. A Red Bluff Police Officer heard McKinnie under the Antelope Bridge yelling at the victim, and he could hear the victim’s muffled screams. The officer ran under the bridge and saw the victim on the ground struggling to get away from McKinnie, who was kneeling over her yelling in her face. He had already beaten her and sexually assaulted her with a foreign object.  McKinnie has been sentenced to 6 years in state prison.
