A house was destroyed by fire in West Redding Wednesday morning. The house on Magnolia Avenue between Placer and Butte was fully involved in fire when Redding Fire department arrived on scene at 5:35AM, according to Redding Fire Chief Gerry Gray. He says that when a fire gets into the attic of a house, it generally spreads throughout the whole house. There were four occupants of the rental house and they all made it out safely. The cause is under investigation.
