A Redding man has made it his mission to convince airlines of the feasibility of reinstating direct flights between Redding and Los Angeles. Ben Carter has gathered thousands of signatures on a petition, but he’s been told that it would take about 10,000 signatures to impress a major airline. Once the signatures are gathered, Carter will give his petition to Redding Airports Manager Bryant Garrett to present to potential airline partners.
