Reddings new City Manager has given the city council a list of his priorities for the next six months. Barry Tippin came up with a list of 42 items he’d like to complete over the next twelve months, including the hiring of a new police chief after Tippin fired Rob Paoletti on his first day in office. He also has instituted a hiring freeze until the budget is under control. He told the council the city is down 120 employees from where it should be. Finally Tippin said he wants to focus on economic development.
