K9 Helps Anderson Officers Arrest Parolee

An Anderson Police K-9 got a taste of a wanted parolee Tuesday morning. Officers had gone to a home on Bay Street looking for 46-year-old Malcolm Ray Ross, who was wanted for parole violations. His record includes violent crimes, drugs, and theft. When APD Officers showed up Ross refused to surrender and hid in a small room of the house. Even when he was discovered he refused to come out, so Aero the K-9 went in to greet him. After being treated at a hospital for dog bites, Ross was turned over to parole agents.
