Redding’s biggest movie theater is closed until further notice after a broken pipe caused a major flood Thursday. Cinemark 14 was shut down Thursday morning after a fire sprinkler pipe broke and flooded part of the building with 3 inches of water. The electricity was shut off for safety reasons, and it will remain off until damage is repaired and a fire inspector gives approval to go back online. Theater management is hoping to have the work done before the end of Friday.
