A three vehicle crash tied up traffic on Highway 44 in Redding Wednesday afternoon. The three vehicles collided at around 2 O’clock in the eastbound lanes of Highway 44 at the exit to Southbound Interstate 5. Although only one lane was blocked, traffic came to a near standstill and continued to be congested until the cars were cleared at around 3 O’clock. The occupants of the cars suffered minor injuries and complaints of pain.
