3 Arrested After Home Invasion Robbery

Three Shasta County men have been arrested for an alleged home invasion robbery. Norman Olson reported the ordeal Monday morning. He said the robbers had left several hours earlier but he had been afraid because they had threatened to kill him and his family if he called the law. Sometime shortly after Midnight Olson’s driveway motion sensor alerted him that someone was approaching. He looked out a window and saw two men walking up to the front door. Without hesitation the men kicked in the door and came inside. Olson said he recognized them as Seth Thompson and his father Darrell Thompson. Olson was reportedly ordered at gunpoint to get on the floor and not to move as another man, identified as Logan McLuckie, joined the Thompsons’ in ransacking the house. They apparently left about a half hour after they arrived, taking with them items valued at around $1,200. McLuckie was found by deputies Monday night. Seth and Darrell Thompson were picked up Tuesday. The trio was booked into jail for robbery, false imprisonment and conspiracy. Seth Thompson also faces a charge of making terrorist threats.
