A Red Bluff man has been sent to prison for harming a Tehama County District Attorney’s Office Investigator. 46-year-old Norman Beckley was in the midst of stealing liquor from a Red Bluff store when he was stopped by the investigator. Buckley lunged at the man and swung a bag at him containing a large glass liquor bottle and other hard objects. The bag struck the investigator in the head, but Buckley was still arrested. He then failed to appear in court. He’s been sentenced to 3 years in state prison.
