A couple found dead in Mount Shasta City from an apparent murder-suicide left behind two young children, and a fund has been set up to assist them. Wednesday morning Mount Shasta Police officers were dispatched to a home on Old McCloud Road. They arrived to find the bodies of 35-year-old Daniel Moll and 34-year-old Rena Moll, both dead from gunshots. Police say it appeared that one of them shot the other and then turned the gun upon themselves. The couple’s two children were found unharmed elsewhere in the home. The sister of Daniel Moll has set up a support fund to help provide for the future needs of the two orphaned children, 11-year-old Kieran Moll and 10-year-old Caden Moll.
