A woman who was missing from the Montague area has been found dead, and a man has been arrested for her murder. The Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office took a missing persons report on Thursday for 24-year-old Katrina Leigh Eblem, whose last known sighting was in Montague last Tuesday night. Siskiyou County investigators began following leads that eventually led them to a remote area of the county, where they found the young mother’s body Tuesday. 26-year-old Jere Thomas Ramey, also a Montague resident, was questioned and then arrested Tuesday night. He’s been booked into jail for Katrina’s murder with bail set at a Million Dollars.
