Public Input Sought On Transportation Plan

Anyone who wants a say in the future of transportation for Redding has about two weeks left to do so. The Shasta Regional Transportation Agency and the City of Redding are putting together regional and civic active transportation plans to provide a coordinated approach to active transportation by reducing barriers for pedestrians and bicyclists, identifying potential projects and supporting safe connections. The plans will allow the region to compete for state and federal funding. Public input is encouraged through October 29th at goshasta.org.
