Someone died in a house fire in the Centerville Area west of Redding Saturday morning. The fire destroyed a house and a boat on Chapperel Drive with estimated monetary loss of $100,000. Cal-Fire confirms one fatality, though a coroner’s office spokesperson says they have not yet determined the man’s identity.
