After years of fundraising efforts and a lot of hard work, a U.S. Air Force monument is finally ready for its permanent home at the Northern California Veterans Cemetery in Igo. The aluminum sculpture was fabricated at Eagle Iron Works on Banigan Road in Anderson. It’ll leave there for good Wednesday morning at 10AM. Missing in America Project riders will escort it north on Highway 273 to Clear Creek Road and out to the cemetery. A formal dedication ceremony will take place this Saturday after the 11AM Veterans Day program.
