Post Hole Digger Assault Ends In Jail Sentence

A 32-year-old Tehama County man has been sentenced for assaulting a man through a window. Justin David Reeves arrived at the victim’s house demanding that he come outside to fight him. The man in the house refused to come out so reeves jumped the fence and argued with the victim through the kitchen window. Reeves tried to bait the victim but when he still would not come outside Reeves picked up a post hole digger and hit the man in the face with it through the window. Convicted of felony assault with a deadly weapon, Reeves has been sentenced to 6 months in jail and a 3 year prison sentence that’s suspended if he completes 3 years probation.
