A teenager died of injuries suffered in an off-road crash just east of Redding. The 16-year-old boy was riding a motorcycle when he ran into another motorcycle ridden by a young teenage girl. It occurred at around 1:30PM Friday afternoon on private property off of Old 44 Drive near Stillwater Drive. When fire rescue personnel arrived the boy was not breathing and he was apparently revived with CPR. Both teens were transported to a hospital. The boy later died, according to the CHP.
