A massive recall has been made for a very common brand of portable fire extinguishers. The Kidde Corporation has been ordered to recall almost 40 Million extinguishers sold between 1973 and this year. One death has been blamed on one of the malfunctioning units, and many others have shown significant problems that would prevent them from working.
