Organizers of a charity food drive set for Wednesday have a goal helping more than a thousand families in need with their Thanksgiving and Christmas Day meals. The “Stuff the Truck” drive is at Taylor Motors at Churn Creek and Cypress all day Wednesday from 6AM to 6PM. The beneficiary will be the Good News Rescue Mission, and they’re hoping to reach out and help some of the working poor in our community as they struggle to make ends meet. Donors will be asked to contribute frozen turkeys, as well canned and non-perishable food items to provide the trimmings for the turkey dinners.
