Smokers are expected to refrain from lighting up Thursday for the 43rd annual Great American Smokeout. The Shasta County Tobacco Education Coalition will be providing free “quit kits” to smokers in the Target parking lot on Churn Creek Road in East Redding 11AM to 6PM.
