Tuesday night’s regularly scheduled meeting of the Redding City Council has been canceled for the Thanksgiving Holiday, but the council will meet on Wednesday of next week to take on some public safety issues. A private donation will be presented to partially fund the neighborhood police unit. A presentation of current public safety initiatives will be followed by an overview of a previous public safety workshop in July. Finally, the council will take comments and questions from the public. The meeting is Wednesday the 29th at 5 O’clock in the council chambers.
