Woman Killed In Rollover Crash Identified

The name of a young woman from Corning who died in a rollover crash last Friday has been released by the Tehama County Coroner’s Office. At 11:30 Friday night 25-year-old Katlyn Marie Mitchell was driving northbound on Interstate Five north of Sunset Hills Drive a few miles south of Cottonwood when she drifted to the left. The Mazda 3 went into the dirt center divider and rolled, tumbling about 30 feet into the gap and landing in a ditch. Katlyn was not wearing a seatbelt and suffered fatal injuries during the rollover. She was pronounced at midnight. The CHP says alcohol was not a factor.
