A stolen van parked in a driveway in Shasta Lake City led to five arrests. The van was spotted by a deputy at 11 o’clock Friday night at a home on Valecito Street. It had been reported stolen from Redding. The owner of the house, 41-year-old Joshua Sampley, is on probation for receiving stolen property, so deputies used the opportunity to do a probation search. As they were on their way they saw 30-year-old Adrian Lopez walking away from the home and they arrested him on multiple outstanding warrants. During a search of the house various types of ammunition was found, which Sampley is forbidden from having. 34-year-old Matthew Warmington reportedly admitted he had arrived in the van and he was arrested. Two other people at the house, Shawn Harrison and Angela Root, were arrested on warrants.
