A motorcyclist who was killed in a collision with a car Thursday night in East Redding has been identified by the Shasta County Coroner’s Office. 19-year-old Jason Chance Lanphear was coming from Best Buy at around 7:30PM. He crossed Hilltop Drive and was eastbound on Browning Street when 30-year-old Danielle Morgan pulled her SUV out of the Kohl’s parking lot into his path. Morgan had moderate injuries and had to be extricated by the fire department. Any witnesses are encouraged to contact RPD.
