A Downtown Redding gas station was hit by an armed robber Wednesday night. At 10:12PM Redding Police were called to the Gas-4-Less at Pine and Tehama Streets. 21-year-old Amar Singh told officers a man had come in with his face concealed. He had a gray or silver handgun that he pointed at Singh, demanding money. After getting cash the man fled on foot. A search of the area did not turn up any sign of the robber. He was wearing a black sweatshirt, blue jeans and brown boots. He may have a tattoo on the top of his left hand.
