A man on foot was killed on Interstate Five in Redding Wednesday night. At 8:40PM the unidentified 58-year-old victim was in the southbound slow lane at Cypress Avenue when a tractor trailer came along and the driver had no way of avoiding the man. It’s not known why the man was on the freeway.
