A vacant house was destroyed by fire in Anderson Monday morning. The blaze was reported at around 4AM on Lynn Hart Lane off Rhonda Road. The house was fully involved in flames when firefighters arrived. It was a complete loss. The house, which was about 80 years old, has apparently been plagued with vandals and trespassers since the homeowner died 8 years ago.
