U-Haul has released data that shows Redding is among the top 25 destinations for people moving across the country. Redding ranks 13th on the list based on one-way truck rentals. According to the company, 52.6 percent of one-way truck rentals are coming into Redding as opposed to leaving.Redding has seen a 6 percent drop in the year over numbers compared to a 2 percent drop in departures. U-Haul says that Redding is convincing net-gain city for do-it-yourself movers. Tempe, Arizona was the number one city on the list. Other cities in California include number 6 Sacramento, number 17 San Francisco, and number 23 Murrieta.
