Couple Arrested After Infant Suffers Fractured Bones

A Red Bluff couple has been arrested for child abuse after their infant girl suffered a fractured upper arm, according to police. Officers were called to Saint Elizabeth Hospital at 1:35PM Wednesday afternoon after medical staff reported a 26 day old baby girl was suffering an arm injury. Investigators determined that 28-year-old Jessica Trimble had caused the injury during the morning hours of January 9th, but failed to take the child to the hospital for treatment. The baby’s father 31-year-old Kenneth Keverline apparently knew of the injury but didn’t seek medical attention. The infant was placed into protective custody and both parents were arrested for child abuse and conspiracy.
