A reward is being offered for information on a homicide in Siskiyou County. In November of 2012, the skeletal remains of 43-year-old Christopher Scott Schafer were found partially submerged in Yreka Creek near Deer Creek Way in Yreka. Investigators believe Schafer was the victim of a homicide. A 5-Thousand Dollar reward is offered through Siskiyou County Secret Witness. Anyone with information should call 841-2311.
