City Leaders Working To Gather Input On Public Safety

Over the next 4 to 6 weeks the citizens of Redding can expect to see a focused push toward the establishment of realistic public safety goals. That’s the word from the city manager’s office, which has been circulating surveys through various social media. Manager Barry Tippin, Police Chief Roger Moore and Fire Chief Gerry Gray are inviting personal contact with the community and making themselves available to discuss public safety concerns through meetings both formal and informal. The results of this new focus on community engagement will be reviewed at a third public safety workshop that has yet to be scheduled late next month. Meetings with Tippin, Moore and Gray can be requested by groups or individuals by contacting Misty Rhoads at 225-4063 or [email protected].
