A man with a history of violence has been sent to prison for assaulting a man in Red Bluff. 28-year-old David Nikolas Bagwell had a long history of domestic violence arrests and was on felony probation from another county when he was arrested again last September. Bagwell had confronted a man at the former Sportsmen’s Lodge on Antelope Boulevard and knocked him out. Red Bluff Police found the victim on the ground covered in blood and babbling incoherently. Bagwell has been convicted of felony assault and was sentenced this week to 7 years in state prison.
