A reckless social media post by an Enterprise High School student has gotten him in hot water. On Monday the 15-year-old boy posted a distorted photo of someone holding a gun, along with the message “Don’t come to school TMR.” Staff at Enterprise High were informed of the posting Tuesday and they notified the Redding Police School Resource Officer. The student and his parents were contacted and their home was searched. It was determined that the weapon in the photo was a BB. gun and it’s not believed that the boy had any violent intentions. However, his parents were extremely upset and the school will take administrative action. Also, Redding Police will file misdemeanor charges against the boy.
